About The CCD
The Convention Centre Dublin (The CCD) is a Public Private Partnership between the Office of Public Works (OPW) and Spencer Dock Convention Centre Dublin DAC (SDCCD), with the operations and maintenance of the business contracted to an associate company, Spencer Dock Convention Centre Dublin No2 DAC (O&M Co), which trades as The CCD.
The building is owned by the state with the group of companies contracted under licence to commercially operate the business until 2035. In 2023, both businesses were acquired by John Laing. John Laing is a leading international investor and manager of PPP projects and low-risk, mid-market infrastructure businesses across a range of sectors.
They hold a diverse portfolio of infrastructure projects globally with The CCD being one of their first PPP businesses in Ireland.
