The CCD secures prestigious Docklands Business Forum Outstanding Achievement Award 2023
The Convention Centre Dublin proudly announces its recent triumph at the Docklands Business Awards 2023, where they received the coveted Outstanding Achievement Award for exceptional contributions to the Dockland’s community and the business landscape.
The Docklands Business Forum, renowned for celebrating and promoting the remarkable achievements of Dockland enterprise, presented the Outstanding Achievement Award to The CCD during the awards ceremony held at The Gibson Hotel Dublin on Thursday 16th November 2023. The award serves as a testament to CCD's commitment to excellence, its positive impact on the local economy, and its role as a key player in Dublin's thriving business community.
In response to the accolade, Stephen Meehan, CEO at the Convention Centre Dublin, expressed gratitude and enthusiasm, stating, “This award is a real honour and I’m pleased to accept it on behalf of the whole team at The CCD, our industry partners who are a vital to our success and our many clients and friends across the globe.”
The Convention Centre Dublin, situated in the heart of the city, consistently plays a vital role in attracting international events and conferences, contributing significantly to Dublin's reputation as the ideal destination for business tourism. Bringing record numbers of delegates to Dublin Docklands, The CCD has become a key driver for Dockland’s evergrowing hospitality sector. This coupled with the venue's state-of-the-art facilities, and its commitment to being a sustainable events venue were key factors in clinching the award.
